Nic Caron is classically trained in social work and psychology at Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts, Nic brings a refreshing human focus to the accounting world. When they decided to enter into the accounting world in 2023, they started as an accounting assistant and then quickly worked their way up to bookkeeper by adding their bookkeeping certificate.

Nic is also certified in Somatics through The School of Somatic Arts and will be bringing this knowledge to clients through our Financial Literacy programs. Together, all these modalities help them relate to business owners and the challenges they face.

Nic uses the pronouns they/them, loves to participate in book clubs and is an active participant and member of the local queer community where they help with events and mutual aid. Additionally, they love to spoil their two cats - Bear (fluffy, dopey, and hungry) and Beastie (sweet, cuddly, and secretly wants to be a swimmer). Their favorite season is fall because the temperature is just right and the leaves are beautiful and crunchy in New Hampshire. Nic has overcome many obstacles in life, including being hard-of-hearing and wanting to learn American Sign Language (ASL). They value their recovery time and encourage everyone to take time out to rejuvenate.

As co-founder of Do What You Love Accounting, Inc., Nic helps business owners understand where they are holding themselves and their businesses back from achieving their goals. Nic believes a healthy business starts with an embodied business owner. In order to succeed, we need to take care of ourselves, as humans, before we can take care of our business.
