Embodied leadership for spiritual achievers. May Empson is a rooted, body-based somatic practitioner, executive leadership expert, and energy healer who helps spiritual achievers build extraordinary success from embodied power. Her path into this work began with burnout. After earning her MBA from Columbia Business School, May built her career across operations, management consulting, and sales strategy within Fortune 500 companies. She trained leaders, drove performance, and operated inside environments where high standards and long hours were the norm. Outwardly, it worked. Internally, something was off.
She began to see how often ambitious women override their bodies in order to achieve. Fatigue gets ignored. Intuition gets dismissed. Stress becomes a badge of honor. Over time, that disconnection erodes vitality, clarity, and joy. May’s work grew from 2 simple but radical questions: What if you are your most important work? What if success did not require self-abandonment?
Today, she guides driven, spiritually curious women who want wealth, leadership, and impact without sacrificing their health or inner authority. Women who are ready to build from regulation instead of adrenaline. Her approach bridges executive rigor and embodied wisdom.
She is certified through the Columbia Coaching Certification Program and trained in SLII, Inside Out Coaching, Core Motivators, Insights Discovery, Fierce Conversations, and Zenger Folkman’s Extraordinary Leadership framework. She is also a certified yoga instructor and Reiki I and II practitioner, integrating somatic practice, nervous system regulation, energy healing, and guided meditation into her leadership work. This combination allows her to meet high achievers where they are. Strategic. Analytical. Results-oriented. And quietly craving deeper alignment.
May is also the host of the Own Your Best Life Podcast and a mother of two young girls. She has reinvented her career more than once in devotion to what felt true, and she supports her clients in evolving without dismantling the lives they have worked hard to build. She believes power is most sustainable when it is embodied. When a spiritual achiever learns to listen to her body, trust her intuition, and lead from internal steadiness, success becomes expansive rather than exhausting. Her work is an invitation to rise in a way that can be maintained.
Ambition intact. Body included. Power rooted.
If you are ready to lead from a deeper place, this is where that evolution begins.
